This will be David’s second term as our club’s President he first served as President
In the Rotary year of 2009-

David qualified in Medicine at the University of Birmingham in 1977.
His training has included
medical attachments in Birmingham,
Nottingham and Manchester.
David has worked as Consultant Haematologist at Glan Clwyd Hospital
since 1988 and was Medical Director for Conwy & Denbighshire NHS Trust
from 2002-
In 2007, David gained a Health Foundation Quality improvement fellowship
and studied for 12 months at the Institute of Healthcare Improvement in Boston USA.
He has recently retired from the NHS
but continues with his consultancy business in “Quality in Healthcare”
